GENERAL PURPOSE FILTERS

These general purpose filters provide adequate attenuation for the suppression and protection of most machines, and are available in current ratings up to 1000 amps three phase four lines.

Cases are fabricated using tin dipped steel, or tin plated steel, and as such they are quite rugged.

Like the “Matchbox filters”, terminals can be made to suit individual preferences, though as standard they would be colour coded insulated nickel/tin plated brass screw terminals. Wire, spade, or terminal blocks can be adopted, and once again with combinations of any preferred termination method.

Physical shape and layout can be changed in order to enable filters to be “shoe-horned” into the available position in the user's cabinet.

Quantities are irrelevant for special designs.
